Hello all,

We have two lots available this season. AMP and Stewiacke Mud Slingers club (SMS).
Unfortunately, both of these lots are only usable when the ground is frozen to help preserve for future dates.
SMS is a combination of dirt and grass.

Directions to SMS are:
Take Exit 12 on Highway 102
Zero odometer and keep right towards Brookfield
0.85 Straight Ahead at stop lights
7.45 Turn Right onto Brenton Cross Road (a dirt road)
8.85 Caution One Lane Bridge
8.92 Take first Right at Civic 292 gated driveway
Approximately 1/2 km to the site

- BAC Rally Cross Organizers

Sunday dates for this season are:
December 15th - SMS *** CANCELLED *** poor weather
January 19th - AMP
January 26th - SMS
February 9th - SMS
February 23rd - AMP
February 29th - SMS *** CANCELLED *** poor weather
March 8th - SMS
March 22nd - SMS *** CANCELLED *** health and safety - Coronavirus
March 29th - SMS *** CANCELLED *** health and safety - Coronavirus

Has anyone looked at using the gravel pit(s) in New Minas used for the 4-wheel-drive truck competitions? I was down there today for a quick look. The only area I could access is too small. At least two of the areas are gated and controlled, I believe, by the Village of New Minas. While the surface seems sandy and not very solid, I don't mind making a few inquiries unless that road has already been travelled.

Let me know. Meanwhile, I'll continue to do some Google Earth searches of the local area for possible sites.

Gary

Hi Gary,

Yes, if you could look into this location, that would be great!

Let me know how it goes :)

Apologies to all, we have decided to cancel the Dec 1st event. The location in Brookfield looks good. However, due to the conditions of the surfaces (mud and a grass field), this location would also need some frozen ground.

OK, leave it with me. I'll make some inquiries and we can take it from there.

Warm weather is approaching this week. Please continue to watch this post for a possible cancellation notice for December 15th.

***Unfortunately the RallyCross event on Dec 15th has been CANCELLED due to warm weather and lots of rain this weekend, creating the track to be unusable. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope to see you all January 12th at AMP!***

Update: BAC has cancelled our last two rally crosses.

Our new lot near Brookfield was well received, and our classic favourite, AMP - back 40, held up very nice this season.
We look forward to our next season of Rally Cross coming this fall. Hope to see you all there! Bring a friend!

Take care everyone
