I'm hoping to get in to racing next summer, but I'm trying to get my car somewhat prepped before the winter. The first thing I want to have done is get at least a roll bar installed, but I have no idea who can make me one or who sells them locally (in Halifax). Any leads would be much appreciated, and if anyone knows the general cost and lead time on one, that would be great to know too. Thanks!

Oh yeah, sry if this is the wrong subforum, I just didn't see anything else that fit.

Frank Fraser did Ben's in the K Miata. Ben was very happy with it.

he's an older guy, slowing down a little, and you may have to phone at the right time of day to get him, but does great work, and reasonable prices. He's in Shubie.

If you are going racing next year, you can also check with James Whitman. He's built many a cage for Race and Rally.

What do you mean by racing? Autoslalom, lapping, time attack, or wheel to wheel?

Autoslalom and lapping most likely.
